The chrome lattice cage houses a gentle PTC ceramic heater that holds a steady, leather-safe 122°F / 50°C — warm enough to lift moisture out of fabric, padding and insoles, but never hot enough to scorch glue lines or warp midsoles. While the heat pulls humidity out, a low-intensity light element inside the cage helps neutralize the odor-causing microbes that the moisture was feeding.
